Thank you to everyone who came out to support our talented artists at Weekday! The hard work and creativity that your children put into their projects really showed! We were able to raise almost $1,400 to go towards our school from the class and graduation raffle prizes. We still have a couple unclaimed prizes, so check your tickets!! Thanks to all who participated!

Can you believe we are gearing up for the end of our school year already and all the fun & exciting events that go with it! The Farm coming to Weekday for Earth Day was such a memorable experience for our kiddos!

Our first exciting event for May is our Special Persons’ Tea, which will be held by each class on either 5/11 or 5/12. If you have not RSVPed to your child’s tea, please let your teacher know who will be attending ASAP. Next event up, is our Annual Field Day in Northport Village Park for our 4s and Kindersteps classes. These classes will all be heading down to Northport Village Park on 5/31 at about 9:45 AM to arrive by 10:00. The children will participate in 5 events with the other classes and then everyone will return to school by 11:45 AM. Parents/family/friends are welcomed and encouraged to join us to cheer on their Weekday student and their friends!:) After the Field Day, we will have Mister Softee at school to provide ice cream cups for ALL of our students! We will be sending home a permission slip to all classes participating in Field Day this week.

Finally, the week of 6/12, we will have our Moving Up and Graduation ceremonies. The 2s classes will be on 6/12, the 3s will be on 6/14 and the 4s and Kindersteps will be on 6/15. Invitations will be sent home within the next couple of weeks detailing the time, etc.

The district has announced that there will be no classes on 5/26. Therefore, Weekday will also be off on this day. Please mark your calendars with this change. Thanks!
